Mod Friendly SA in SoCal now that Charlie is gone

I was hoping now that South Bay is now owned by McKenna that they would get on board there, would make things much easier for me as well.

I'm here at Mckenna right now dropped off with Claudia she told me she wouldn't plug in the car...Charlie also told me to contact her

If your car is tuned, plugging into the car at the dealer is bad.... So sounds like you're in good hands

Interested in this as well. For the OC guys, where do you guys take your car to? I'm in Westminster, Crevier is the closest service center, but long beach and mckenna aren't that far.

Plugging in gives the dealer a full scan of the car which shows all variables changed, including coding. So no I wouldn't ever plug in unless you're there for some kind of issue

If u just have coding and they plug-in there's a chance you lose your coding if they update happened to my x1 but nothing was voided nor did they say a peep.

If you're flashed in any way and the dealer plugs you in... even for an oil change reset, assume you are flagged and will be denied powertrain warranty. It isn't rocket science people.

Does anybody have experience with McKenna doing alignments? I’m getting lowered soon and I’ve heard so many horror stories about alignments, I’m paranoid and considering having it done by McKenna just because they are a BMW dealer. Cost is not an issue. I’d happily pay a premium for McKenna to do it if I thought I had a better chance of it being done right, and for the resource available if it goes wrong.

My .02 Cent. I used Claudia after Charlie left and she is on point with the program. Didn't have a problem. I went in for warranty work.

Got some warranty work done with Israel at McKenna. Very happy with the service. He's on board with the modded community.

Also, his Grigio Telesto F80 is pretty.
