Hello everyone, does anyone have a part number for the small clip that holds the EDC sensor to the top nut of the strut? Or do you know if a new clip comes with a new cable?

Just installed Eibach lowering springs and little bit of a mess. Broke this clip, and two accelerator sensors (one front one rear)? Just didn't plug back in. Got the "Chaises Function Restricted" error so can't adjust suspension. Any and all help would be appreciated.

As for the rear sensors, they just went snapping back into place. I've included a pic of what's not "snapping" back into place. One in the rear, and one in the front just won't go back on. They were sort of difficult to take off (but expected with the dust/dirt around that area).

Hi,

The rubber joint in those connectors is very tight and makes it very hard to reconnect.
I wasted more than one hour once. Then I tried to lubricate the joint and it went in super easy !

THIS

Highly recommend using some electric component / connection friendly lube spray and it'll go in just fine.

If you try to do it dry, you'll struggle forever and probably break something.

Ask me how I know

Agree with the previous 2 posters, I had one that I had to muscle back in otherwise it simply would not seat. In the end I blew it out with compressed air and electrical cleaner and was able to get it in. They can be a bitch though.

Thank you! I'll try to lubricate with some dielectric grease

Update: Blowing out the connector + dielectric grease worked like a charm. All errors gone and all functions normal. Thank you guys and the Bimmerpost community for the help and fix!

KACHOW! Glad it worked. It really fucked me up for a couple of days worth of attempts trying to figure out what the hell i was doing wrong.
