battery tender hookup

I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this, but those of you that use a tender, where did you connect it?

Engine bay. There are positive (red capped) and negative (bare metal post) terminals located on the passenger side of the engine bay.

No problem

Note - you should use the engine bay +/- terminals to jumpstart the car.

I've heard so many stories about problems jump starting cars. I do not use my car to start other peoples cars and I've never had a battery go flat that would require me to jump mine.

I went out and looked under the hood and see what you are referring to under the red cover. I'm looking for a place to install the tender pigtail.... I'll pull the cover off and see it there's a place to install the pigtail underneath and then route it out by the wipers.

Thanks again.

I personally just use the clamps to connect but the positive terminal comes right off with a Torx bit.
