Help using Jb4 as meth controller!!!

Hey guys I have a 2015 Bmw M4 currently running a flash on the BM3 platform, I also have the jb4 and a bms stealth kit, were looking for a way to be able to have the Jb4 control the meth flow while disconnected, i have meth safety set to 4 and meth trigger to 1 but as soon as I disconnect the JB4 in order to datalog with BM3 it stops the flow of meth and I cannot find the answers anywhere on the forums.
