Camber plates and BMW CPO warranty
Hi all,
I was about to install GC camber plates on my 2017 M4 and was told by my shop that this would void my CPO limited warranty. I checked the exclusions and it's not clear to me whether this would impact me. Anybody have experience or guidance they could share ? Apologies in advance if this has already been discussed on the forum. I quote the relevant part of the exclusions list. Thanks ! Suspension Ball joints; bushings; center tie rod; coil springs – sagging (except for leveling system pneumatic/hydraulic springs); control arms and brackets; idler and pitman arms; stabilizer bar links and supports; strut elements/shock absorbers (dampers); tie rod ends and adjusting sleeves; trailing arms, thrust struts; wishbones. |

I presume it would come down to how they interpret "strut elements", since an aftermarket camber plate takes the place of the stock top hat, serving as the top-most anchor point for the strut
EDIT: And for what it's worth, use of camber plates voids aftermarket Bilstein's warranty on their struts (directly from a Bilstein rep via email) |
