Well, the engine was assembled in Germany so it helps a little bit? Lol

Thanks! I've always loved Astons and the late model vantages have come down to a reasonable price point. Being that I wanted a car for the driving season it was a no Brainer! Got a PPI done on it and it's perfect...only a little over 7000 miles on it. It's not anywhere near as fast as the M4, but the sound! And it's a 6 speed. It's a fun car, but the M4 is in a different performance class.

Thanks everyone! I still plan on scanning the forums here and will post up driving events. Made a lot of friends on Bimmerpost, so I will definitely be sticking around.

Didn't feel like waiting a year or more to get it. My CA told me with the war in Ukraine and the chip shortage I "might" get a car by next February or March. No thanks. I was ok waiting until the end of summer or even fall...but not that long.

Just an update...keeping an eye to weather. If Saturday is not looking good as we go further in week, then I will postpone the drive until Sunday morning. This may cause some issues with our sponsor as they have an event pre-planned at their shop on Sunday, but should not effect our drive or the spot I was planning to hold the cars and coffee afterwards. We just may not have coffee paid for by our sponsor that day, but it will be available at the Panera Bread. Will update this thread if plans change because of weather later in the week.

Either way it works for me, no rain would be nice.

Well tomorrow mornings forecast for the area is looking like it will stay dry until at least noon, so we are on! It may not be the "sunniest" of Sunrise drives but given that Sunday looks like a complete soaker...its our only option. So tomorrow morning it is! See you all at 6am. I'd like to leave by 6:20am sharp.
