I see for the GT3 the FI-R do a 20 x 9 Fr and 20 x 12 in Rear.

Would the 20 x 12 fit the F82, and at what offset? I run 305/30/19 on stock ten at rear.

Could I run a 315 or 325 on the 12?

If I wanted to run a rear wheel square set-up of OEM E92 ZCP M3 wheels on my F82, would I have an issue up front? I know the wheel offsets put it flush with the fender in the rear, but how would the offset fare up front?

BBS does not make an FI-R wheel in 12" in BMW fitment. You'd have to go for a custom wheel from someone like HRE, to achieve a 12" width in the rear.

You'd need to use a spacer in the front, to gain the inboard clearance necessary for a 10" wide wheel. The spacer size would change depending on which suspension you're using. The best solution would be to use an 8-12mm spacer, with a coilover suspension and an adjustable camber plate. Then you could have about 3 degrees of front camber, and use a 275/30/19 front tire.

The only trick is, if you use a 10" square setup all around, you're stuck with a 275/30/19 rear tire as well, which is not optimal.

Thanks, what about 11? Or do they only do the 10.5? Not really worth it for 1/2 inch?

11 would be perfect, and maybe 9.5 upfront ?

This might be a stupid question but wanting to see if these will fit an F80 aggressive or not....have a buddy who wants my wheels badly but before going through the process of exchanging wheels get your professional input on the fitment.

I heard through grapevine that BBS will be offering a 20x9.5, 20x11 2-piece wheel with the right offsets, but only the LM-R. Any way you can convince them to also offer the timeless LMs with the same specs? Extra ask is to offer a factory black finish in either satin or gloss with black assembly bolts?

That fitment can work but not ideal. Fronts are too conservative and rears are very aggressive. Will look off unless u start adding spacers. And yes it would need a drop

IND, do you find any side to side wheel gap variation on the F8X chassis? I'm referring to not suspension height gap; rather, how the wheel/tire sit flush to the fender.

This is becoming more apparent visually as correctly fitting aftermarket wheels push the tire much closer to the edge of fitment as folks try to get that extra width and poke sans rubbing.

I'm seeing a 2-3mm variance where my passenger side is more in-board than the driver side. It's either the chassis is a smidge off from factory or my aftermarket wheels weren't cut correctly.

I'm guessing your camber is just off a little from side to side. It can change the fit a good bit.

The current tire size on the car is

My other alternative is 18x9.5 22 fronts and 18x9.5 35 rear. What would be the ideal tire size for this?

Reading through this post I want to confirm that 19x9.5 +27 front and a 19x10.5 +35 rear will be the "perfect" flush fitment without rubbing? And the "perfect" tire setup for that setup is 275/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear? I don't imagine that having a stretch and if it does it's a very slight one. I definitely don't want the stretched look but a little is OK if clearance is needed.

From what Ilia mentioned in the pages before your fronts should work fine with 19x9.5 +22, though it'll be aggressive. The rears will work with 275 tires and it'll be pretty stretched.
