Signature Werks BBK

Anyone here run this kit? Seems like a much more reasonably priced option compared to other BBKs for a 6/4 piston setup using ZL1 calipers.

Interesting.

Looks like a nice alternative. I too am interested in if anyone has this set up.

Nice find!

No go for me. Looks like they took a caliper designed to be axially-mounted and machined them to accept a radial mount. Really depends on how much material they needed to machine out to make the new mounting position work. Might be OK for mild street driving, but I would NOT use these for any track work.

Bottom line - never cheap out on your braking system. It's the only thing between you and serious injury or possible death.

I'm not seeing a clear advantage of this over stock F8X iron brakes

If it isn't made for the BMW F80 how do you know if the pistons are sized right.

I would be interested in this kit as well.

I couldn't find a number on their website so I reached out to them for more information. Will report when I hear back.

Thoughts on this vs the M2 C kit?

That's fantastic news! I reached out to them and the response was less then fantastic. Basically "just email us".

Our brackets are machined from heat-treated 7075-T6 billet aluminum. The shear strength of 7075-T6 is nearly double of 6061-T6. Brake pads are from Dixcel, the company that race the Super GT in Japan with the G82 M4 GT3 race car. SS lines are from Goodridge, a well-known company based in the UK. The calipers are brand new from ACDelco. Nothing is considered cheap here. Let us know if you have any other questions. I'm happy to answer them for you
Can you confirm the size of the rear rotors for the F80 kit? Who makes your two piece rotors?

Hey Larry_0815 and mashimarho, some of us were looking at potentially changing to the F87 M2 Comp 2NH iron setup (same calipers as the CCB brakes for the F80, different size rotors than stock iron setup). To do this, you would need to change both calipers and rotors.
If I’m interpreting your brake package correctly, I can keep the same rotors from my stock 4-pot front, 2-pot rear setup, and use your calipers/brackets? Just wanted to clarify to see if there is also a cost advantage in running your setup. I’m running Girodiscs rotors for the stock iron setup, and wondering if your calipers work with these rotors.

Lastly, any idea of how the weight of your calipers compare to the 2NH set?

Thanks
