Driver Side *Buzzing* Sound

Hi all!

Is anyone experiencing the driver side buzzing noises?

It's not always present which makes harder for me to locate where the noise is coming from..
It usually triggers whenever i drive over uneven pavements.. like raw asphalts. (ex) bridge can be one of good examples.

The buzzing noise is definitely coming from my left ear but I really can't tell where it's coming from.. so FKing ANNOYING!! I removed the driver side air vents as i thought it was the one but I failed it.

Any thoughts or ideas??? I'm thinking about removing the door panel next but i really don't know how to. LOL

Please anyone advise!! Thanks

Mine is more of a squeaking/creaking noise. Many people have solved their issues by lubricating the door seals and applying teflon tape along the shadow line trim. My creaking seems to be coming from somewhere in the window seal because my noise goes away completely when the windows are down.

My noises are 1) the buzzing from centre console where the wireless charger is. 2) the high pitched varying tone which I believe is an ASD fault so i'll disconnect/code out the active sound, oh and theres definitely an intermittent whining sound when the wife sits next to me and I put my foot down.

finally figured out what mine is

quite literally was coming on to start my own post to see if others had my issue because i finally narrowed it down. the HUD "tray" if you will is loose and it rattle/buzzes over uneven pavement or acceleration. if you even just put your finger lightly on it during the noise, it stops immediately. lift your finger off and it returns instantly.

that said - has anyone else had this buzz/rattle and if so, how did you get it fixed?

My buzzing noise was coming from the door latch button, mostly on the right door. Try locking and unlocking the door when driving over a rough road. If the buzzing goes away when unlocked the dealer can fix for free if still covered under warranty.

Yup. I have heard buzzing from the HUD area. It only does it on certain surfaces some there's some weird resonance thing going on. I haven't heard it in a while so never bothered to get it looked at. Was thinking a wedge of paper crammed in somewhere strategically, or a small piece of tape would eliminate it.

Ah yes, the infamous song of the Buzzatum Killius. It can spring to life when you least expect it, and may not finish its song for months.

I had the buzz fixed in the right door, now there is not a buzz or rattle anywhere, 50,000 miles. No shame from me, very happy camper.

That has been solved by taping tef tapes over the shadow trim. this is something different. :<

Hmm my 435 steering column cover would rattle sometimes. Press on it and see if it creaks.

I get a buzzing sound from the accent lighting under the trim on the drivers door. It sounds similar to what the OP is describing and happens when I drive on rough pavement. Super annoying. If that is what your buzzing sound is, you can wedge a plastic collar stay from a mens shirt between the trim and light.

I have a buzzing sound that sometimes comes from the M logo on my seat. I hope one day it doesn't burn a hole in my back while driving.

What was the repair to make the rattle going away?

Is the car still under warranty? I had a driver side b pillar creak and the dealer took care of it when I took in for service.

In case anyone else is dealing with this, I recently discovered that my rear driver door tweeter grille was causing a buzzing rattle on rough roads or under acceleration. This had been going on for months and is now FIXED using just some 1mm felt tape cut into 5 very thin strips and applied to the underside edge of the grille itself (between the clips which hold it to the door card/tweeter assembly).
