Turn car off before engine warm

Hey Guys -
I sometimes don't drive my car for days (weekend driver) but given my 1 car drive way i sometimes have to move cars around. So i find myself starting the M (after a few days of not driving it) moving it to clear space for my wifes car, then pulling it back in the driveway and shutting it off in a matter of a minute (engine cold). Is this bad on the engine? I only do it once/twice tops a week.

Not the best to do...cars like to warm up fully to burn off any accumulated moisture in exhaust, oils ect.
As long as you take time each week to fully warm it up (drive at least 10 miles , not in traffic) it probably won't matter much.

Your car will be fine. Others will tell you the sky is falling but the car is fine.

I was honestly about to call you the third coming of Nullcheck here (wither Nicholas aka version 2?) but then you got a serious response and now I must ask myself if this is actually a thing now?

Anyway, your car will be fine. I too am mostly a weekend driver (even if I commute, it is a maximum 10 min drive in). Just fire it up on the weekend....which you damn well should be doing with an F8x in the garage.....

Now play nice boys, this is a genuine question!

Yes, you OP have my permission to go for a drive every time after you have to start her up, and if the wife has something to say, just point her to me. My hubby can start a support group with her.

The car needs to warm up. If you are moving it for your wife take it for a drive for 10 miles or so. In this car that won't take long.

Now that is the correct answer.

"Move the cars? Sure thing honey. I'll be back in 25 or so...."

People have issues with the F8x turning circle, use the knowledge people to your advantage!

In other news, Peter is in the shop and I feel like a completely spoiled bitch for complaining and crying because lups was made to drive an automatic car with no hud and no brakes and no engine.

Audi gets driving time today since I don't have the balls to do that again.
