Here's the reply I received from them today:

Yes we are. In the end of September we are ready to ship DME’s in the whole world, but for the first time only for N55 / S55. In this case the customer don’t need to ship his DME to us.


When the M5 is ready to tune (on the end of September), the customers can send us the two DME to do the 2-3 weeks tune. We don’t know if there will be an option as with the N55 / S55.

They will also offer discounts for the first 10 M5/6, 10 first M3/4 and the 10 first M135i/M235i

I think that tuners make simple things. It can be done with new DME or with not new one, if you can make it with 0 motorhours That gives an oppotunity to add option for downpipes and for vmax delete. If I'm wrong, let's see real numbers of that tune

Real ecu tuning of F-series BMW is available ony in Russia

Another tuners make simple things. They won't give the power, which is promised. Only Vmax delete and CEL fix. That guy on M5 should make independent dyno numbers, so maybe my words are not true!

He will do before and after dyno runs, also with and without his new Supersprint exhaust manifold. So I think we will have some facts on this.

Leib Engineering have done several ECU tunes on the Fxx generation now and claim that they can do any custom mapping necessary, including mapping for bigger turbos etc.

Time will tell who's right

If that's really the case, IND will have to jump on this with their AMS turbo's. We could see some sick project popping up on the M5 Forum

If you read the same thread on the M5 forum, you will see that a long time member has his F10 M5 there right now. He will keep us updated on progress.

We will have first hand owner feedback pretty soon (end of sept, early oct)

I find it a little bit strange that they dont have any info about this "worlds first" DME flash on their website. But then the whole webpage is rather spartious when it comes to info.

Would be awesome if they would answer questions here in the forum. I think that could kick-start an avelanch of orders.

You do realise that this thread is NOT started by a tuner?

Leib Engineering made an announcement on Facebook, and have apparently been swamped with work in Germany since. Why would they care to much about a mostly US based forum, if they have plenty of domestic business in Germany/Europe?

This thread is not something Leib has created or been a active part of. It was just my post as I thought this was interesting info for the community.

Don't expect a tuner that doesn't know of this thread to reply to it...

There are many many world wide members of this forum. To think that Leib is that busy in Germany and not one other person has mentioned this break through raises questions! In no way am I pointing the finger at you @boss330 thank you for sharing your discovery with us. I really hope this is true for all of our benefit BUT come on, can we get some solid communication, including a graph and pricing.

Edit: Their Facebook posts are more informative than webpage.
