Default is 3k RPM for LC. Post a time slip when you get a chance, so we can all get a better idea of the run.

1.77 60' is definitely an impressive launch. Would like to know what tires you had on also.

Cont. extreme contact DWS on the stock rim , no burnout.

Also drove 4 hrs from NYC and let the car cool off for about an hr prior to making this pass. Temp. was low 70s

Wow, that's really impressive considering the All-Season HP tires. The track must've been prepped really well for everything to hook at launch.

Didn't you get massive wheelspin with JB1 and launch control. I know I sure do!

What modes were you in, tune, EDC, and steering settings? What kind of suspension setup are you currently running?

launch control mode.. I assume once activated will have the same settings for every F8 car

As mentioned earlier only jb1, filters and one gallon of 100 octane to 1/2 tank of 93, .... no suspension mods

I drive this thing everywhere so 40K miles on the clock already

dumb question.. aren't there stock times with higher trap than that?

Is that because of differences in track prep.. or?

congrats on the mid 11s time slip OP!

It's pretty rare but they're out there. I ran an 11.6 @ 119.27 but my car has the comp pack (not sure if those 19 extra horses make much of a difference). The car is stock though and I was running regular pump gas.

Just also wondering, using launch control, are you using manual shifting or letting the car shift for you? To enable launch control all you have to do is go into DCS off, which turns off MDM and the shift needs to be highest with 3 bars so you are correct that everyone will be in the same traction and shift mode. But the engine tune, EDC, steering, and shift modes are still user controlled settings, so which did you have those in?

I have my car set to sport plus, sport (because I am on springs so its already stiffer than stock), and sport plus. This is the ECU, EDC, and steering. I am not sure if I leave the car in D mode and let the car shift for me to have the best time or go to M and shift before redline to maximize the power band, shifting at the peak HP point in the RPM range.

I too daily my car!

Btw, that quarter mile time you got is superb! If I did low 12s I would be happy, high 11s, I would be ecstatic.

Hahah, I think sometimes the posting method makes the picture sideways.

I see, thanks for the picture!!! I notice how you have the steering in comfort. Is that to make sure to handle the tail spin easier if it breaks loose? Also you are on sport for stock suspension, maybe I should go to comfort to equal your sport mode. I will try Sport Plus, Comfort and Sport, and maybe Comfort next time I am there and manual shift at 7K.

Thanks so much for the picture and advice.

hopefully no one got a neck spasms from trying to look at it.

I think you should keep suspension in the soft setting to help with weight transfer and with traction.
Let us know how you do.
