1 Day M Class vs. M Drivers program

Can someone tell me the difference between the two courses at Thermal location they are both same price. My preference would be more track time as opposed to cones and autocross. I already did the one day car control clinic, but they later sent me coupon for the $849 so can apply to either of the above classes and want to select the correct option. Thanks

That doesn't sound like the 1 Day M School at all. You should ONLY be in the M3, M4 and M2. No non-M cars are used in M School. Additionally, there are no drag races because that would be a horrendous waste of money.

1 Day M School:

Drift pad - M3
Corner attack - M4
Small track config - M2
Lunch
Big track config - M3
Small track config competitive timed autocross - M4
Drift pad competitive Rat Race - M2

It sounds like you did a M Track Day or something which includes a drag race and some laps at Thermal.

No the 240 and 340 were "M240 and M340" ... they had the M5 for the drag race to a 180 back to a stop box ...

The M240 and M340 are not M cars. They are M Performance Cars. How much was the class?

Was the hotel and air included with the price? Usually only the 2-day courses including lodging. I've taken the 1 Day M School, 2 Day M School and the M Track Day. None of those classes had non-M cars and certainly not any M240i or 340's.

It sounds like you took the 1 or 2 Day Driving School which included non-M cars.

One thing I can say about the M Drivers Program is that you are sharing the car with another student unless the class isn't fully booked. In the 1 Day M School you are guaranteed your own M3, M4 and M2. You get much more seat time. Also, the 1 Day M School is much more advanced than the M Drivers Program. I highly recommend the 1 Day M School. Actually, I would recommend the 2 Day M School above all these. The first day of the 2 Day M School is identical to the 1 Day M School. Day 2 is where it gets really intense at Thermal Club, which is a much faster proper track. If you take either, you qualify for the Advanced M School. The M Drivers Program does not qualify you for this class if I am not mistaken.

Looks like the 1 day M School is $1550, with the 2 day M School at $3995 with hotel.
