Having it installed on my new to me 2016 F80 w/EDC, tomorrow at RRT Performance in VA. The car, stock, is just incredibly darty to me. Not always confidence inspiring, but something I know will be gone now. I need it to be lower but not slammed, it is a daily.
Recommended heights are on page 7 of the PDF.

Just got mine installed at my local dealer. No more ugly wheel gap and the ride is great. They did the recommended height which I like. Overall a great mod for me.

Darty?

Did you get an alignment done after install?

"Darty" is an embellishment I'd say, just much quicker responding car than I'm used to. Still on my learning curve of it. Just came out of an APR stg.2 S6, so much different animal to say the least.
But thats on stock springs. Car is currently in the shop getting the springs installed and aligned. I can only imagine that this car, on a more confidence inspiring chassis, will be epic! Even at stock power levels.

Looks great. Seems like it may be a few mm lower than BMW recommended height, which is near perfect IMO.

Currently running Mach Schnell springs and thinking about switching over to the MPHAS kit this spring. Has anyone noticed any additional suspension noises with this kit at all? This is the reason why I am getting rid of the MS springs.

None from mine, it literally feels just slightly stiffer than OEM, if at all, just waaay more planted.

I put on the MP suspension a couple weeks ago, and took a 300-mile round trip test today. Knock on wood, so far nothing has fallen off. I wasn't actually planning on installing it myself, but the local dealer's service manager, after initially seeming enthusiastic, essentially ghosted me. The next closest dealer is ~3 hours away, so the jackstands came out. I thought it felt good on the trip today (a bit harsher over sharp bumps, especially multiple in succession), and my passenger claimed she couldn't tell a difference from when it was stock.

Note to any DIYers who are uneasy about getting the proper torque on the rear shock absorber support bearings (the writeups I found on here have you just zipping the nut back on with an impact wrench): although only specified to be 38 Nm, the torque can't really be assured like the front struts since the nut isn't biting into anything that doesn't spin. After getting everything back together but then having some nervousness about it, I ordered this socket to see if I might be able to use a 10 mm box wrench to hold the shock absorber shaft still while using a torque wrench on the nut. It's too wide to make it down to the nut, however, so no joy there. Unfortunately, after removing/replacing the RR shock that second time I ended up with a chassis restriction. The electrical connections seemed secure, and jiggling them didn't help. Hopefully I just tweaked the acceleration sensor or something else simple when I was messing around with the shock again, but we'll see when I take it in for an alignment on Tuesday. Reports on here indicate the car might lock into the stiffest suspension setting when this happens, so that makes me even more enthusiastic for how it should feel. Fingers crossed for an easy fix.

Does anyone have a part number for the front threaded strut adapter and the perch/collars? I tried adjusting mine the other day and maybe a tiny stone got in there and jammed it. I figure I'll replace both.

No other part number in instructions. Unsure if you can order individual parts, consider contacting where you got kit for maybe warranted part. Those threads are delicate for sure. Good luck.

I purchased a used HAS kit that was delivered over the weekend. I have a friend here in Atlanta that works at MCS, he is going to help me get the spring rates so everyone finally knows. Hoping to drop the springs off to him this week.

I'd say the component that needs the most improvement on the vast majority of F8X is the one that resides between the seat and the steering wheel. The only way to improve that component is with more seat/track time .

The stock suspension is quite capable out of the box. Suspension tuning is a very complex and fine art, it is quite easy to actually make things worse. For instance, just chaging the front springs is not a smart idea that will upset the handling balance of the car. A stiffer suspension is not necessarily better either, it just depends what compromise you are after. In general terms, a stiffer suspension improves handling response while a softer suspension improves total grip. Lowering the car improves total grip by reducing weight transfer but reduces wheel travel, which can result in reduced grip under heavy bumps.

My car serves dual duty of DD and track. I am not willing to forego the convenience of the adaptive suspension, hence why lowering springs fit my bill. However, like I said previously, I did it mainly for cosmetics reasons, I did not feel the car absolutely needed them performance wise. And here again, it is acompromise. The MP-HAS combined the GC camber plates significatly increased NVH, which as taken some refinement away from the great stock CS suspension on the DD. If you wish to go the full coilover route, for sure, they will provide potentially better handling on the track but at the cost of a more jarring ride on the street. Further, depending on your experience level, it is quite likely you will not be able to really leverage the benefit they provide on track. I'd say the money is better spent towards more track time
Hi,do they have a special HAS software update for CS cars? Thanks

I don't believe so. The dealer has not flashed my car after the HAS install.

As far as I know, the M4cs spring rates are the same as the CP, and the MP-HAS is approved for the M4cs, so it shouldn't be an issue. It does ride slightly stiffer than stock, but the damping remains spot on.

MCS can't rate the springs because of their shape, the way they have to mount the springs in the machine. The top and bottom profiles aren't flat, so they don't feel comfortable running the test. Damn.

Did you guys get the hardware replaced at the same time, i.e. the one time use nuts and bolts? The kit is 150$ and BMW recommends doing this. Car is new...

Yep, got the hardware kit as part of the MP HAS purchase (hardware option was only an additional ~$65). I figured, why not...BMW recommends it and in the grand scheme of things, it's not that expensive. Plus, if you're getting the MP HAS installed at a BMW dealership, I suspect they're likely going to insist on it since it's part of the install instructions.

Off topic, but I wonder if some of the numerous "annoyance" squeak/creak/groan noise issues that people have encountered when installing various suspension kits might be related to failing to replace the one time use nuts, bolts and gaskets? Seems like most issues are fixed by fidgeting and/or re-torque'ing, so just wondering if there might be something there?

Does anyone have a list of part numbers contained within the hardware kit?
