CCB disc wear interpretation

Spotted some pitting on my right front disc during a post-track check this evening. The three indicators on that disc are pictured below. Other discs are not equally affected.

Comparing these wear indicators to those detailed in version 1 page 2 of the service bulletin here: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1115439

If continuous, uninterrupted pits or
cavities in the surface are visible at the
indicators (1) > 1 cm² or surface pitting
>50% (entire surface of an indicator is 2
cm²)
-> Replace the brake disc!

Thoughts?

Pad wear status (original) is final pic and included for reference.

Performance was ideal, but might be time to call Essex after all. I'm 4 events in, with 1.5 of those being wet.

I'm due for a brake fluid change under warranty, so will get a master tech's thoughts as well.

Definitely showing some fatigue. Have you weighed the rotors? Need to do that to determine the wear.

I would want to take a good look at the other side of the rotors.

The answer lies in your first picture. Get the rotors weighed .

I'll see if I can get a peek around the dust shield tomorrow.

In original post. 4 total, 2 fully dry, one afternoon in mixed conditions.

Call it ~15 dry sessions total, not many of which were clear running. Still meat left on the original pads.

Will do. But is your read of the bulletins that the weight is the deciding factor? I'm interpreting the bulletin as -- if the indicators are pitting to a certain point, then replace. no mention of weight.

Weight is ultimately going to be the determining factor with carbon rotors. Wear indicators are doing what they are supposed to do.
