Great time mate! Very impressive

I was there on the 31/10/21 also (matte white m4). Only had time for half the day but still happy.

1.22.5xx

It was a PB for me felt like I could have cracked the 1.21s if I had more time on the track and didn't have to leave early..

Just on Cup2s and rs29 pads.

We'll done!

Surprisingly quite good! I've got the bigger 6 piston 2NH calipers also.

Had minimal fade throughout the day (Using endless RF650 + Goodridge Brake Lines)

I used the MX72plus on the blue brakes before and I do like those pads a bit more.

Interesting, so out of both of them you prefer MX72Plus? Any particular reason?

I'm no professional but I feel the initial bite is better with the endless when you step on it, both have no noise for street use which I'm also very happy with

Finally got it onto Collie Long track.

100% stock apart from Eibach springs, 15/12mm spacers and PS4S. Cooked the brakes in the first session and unfortunately battled with brake shudder the rest of the day making me take it easy braking (you can hear it in the vid). Did a newb thing and parked it up hot after the first session and some pad material stuck to the rotor face, it's worn off now after a lot of street kays. Knew i'd need pads and fluid but didn't think they'd die that easily and quickly.

Lapping around the 1:30 mark taking it easy on the brakes. Vid below, didn't film until the last session of the day.

Nice!...GMW in Malaga can source/send ferodo 2500 for street+track or ds1.11 for track only at a reasonable price.

What pads are you using? Would the Ferodo be OK? I don't mind changing pads before if i need to but im also not super impressed with the feel of the stock pads even on the street.

Street
2500 F+R

Track
DS1.11 F and 2500 R

the 2500 are great for the street and ok on the track, ds1.11 are horrible on the street and amazing for the track.

i swap back and forth between pads for trackdays and it takes me half an hour to get it done.

Someone else pays for Tyres and wheel bearings, I'll set you a lap time. Pretty sure I've got some go-pro footage of hosing a Type R at the Bend. Who wants to go Thur 3rd March?

So when you go you only put in 80%?
I try my best. I'm sure if you do track days tires pads and wheel bearings aren't your first priority.
On march 3, put in 1 or 2 flying laps at 100% and see if you come close, they beat me with nearly half the horsepower,
The bend is great flowing track which would help a low powered well balanced car to do well as opposed to something like sandown where horsepower is great.
Don't knock this civic to much, check out how quick it is at nurburgring compared to f80 and even an amg a45s, you'll be very surprised.
