I removed the carbon air filters and replaced the stock air filters with BMC. Much easier than I thought it would be but realized I need a new torque wrench because mine only goes down to 43NM and I needed 28NM, so I eyeballed it for now and ordered a smaller torque wrench from Amazon…

Over the weekend I swapped over some gloss black accent pieces to switch it up. CS style lip in gloss black, black "upper fangs" and black side skirts. I like it more than the carbon look! Oh and threw a fresh set of 295/30s in the rear

Installed a mirror mount for my Uniden R3 radar detector. I decided to hardwire the radar into the mirror as well. I had a similar setup on my F30 but wanted to try something new on the F80. I got the mount from Amazon and was super easy to install. See photos below:

I figured when I was walking around the McLaren/Aston/Lambo dealer last weekend and didn't see a single car with tires that were wider than 305, that was a good indication it might be wide enough!

yes. efr 8474.

fingers crossed for you. I have used a few vargas parts and they have been fine. Crank hub, capture plate and seal guard. Their customer service is what seems to be the issue on turbos.

That's why I purchased through my local shop, and having them handle it ALL from start to finish. Fingers crossed.
