Can MHD restore my original VCN and Calibration with my original backup? ID

I just purchased a MHD tune not too long ago, and was getting really excited on getting the my car tuned until I read somewhere on the forum that the new requirements for CA smog is it needs to pass CVN and Calibration ID check. I would like to find out does MHD flasher saves my car's factory original CVN and Calibration ID during initial installation of OTS tune? When it is time for me to take my car to smog, can I uninstall my OTS tune and reinstall my stock backup map and restore my original CVN and Calibration ID, and will I have run into any potential issues?
