Question on your interior: it looks like your dashboard is carbon fiber up around the vents, but piano black down covering the transmission tunnel and ashtray. That's the way mine is, also a manual. I've seen other 2016 M6s where the tunnel cover is also carbon fiber: that seems to make more sense. But the pics I'm looking at are on DCT cars. Is this just because they didn't bother to spec out the piece in CF for the manual, so they only use piano black? Is that piece available in CF?

That is correct! My 2014 was the same way.

On the 6er forum some of us manual drivers inquired about it a few months ago (an aftermarket replacement of the piano black for CF since Bmw doesn't offer it) and due to the low manual production, no company has done it.

Sucks because originally when building the car on the Bmw site- it looked like for the 2016s, it would be carbon fiber (at least from the 3D builder) but when the car arrived, wasn't the case

Thanks a lot for the confirmation. Maybe I'll buy some carbon fiber-pattern scotch tape and cover up the piano black....
