Although when I call the 800 number I get "scheduled for production with no confirmed production date".
111 means you have an allocation, production number, estimated week of production but without an actual production day assigned just yet.

112 means that you finally have that day assigned.

The 1800 message you are getting now is perfectly normal. My car went from 111 to 150 almost instantly after being stuck in 111 for months. It skipped over 112 seemingly, but I'm sure it was just a matter of me missing the brief moment it was in this status before going into production.

You are right on track!

When I call, I don't here any of these numbers of 111, 112, is this just general knowledge or should I be calling/looking somewhere else?

You will never hear any of those status codes on the 1800 number. Only your CA can get them for you.

Have he or she pull up a vehicle inquiry status and send the screenshot to you. It will show exactly what status code you are at.

Are you dealing with Adrian in South Atlanta? If you are, then I believe him - he knows his stuff.

What doesn't make sense, PCD takes about 2-3 weeks longer than dealer delivery after ED and as you have heard some folks have confirmed their ED dates for 2016 models.
I believe with PCD they won't schedule it until the car is stateside.

Ya, we have our ED pickup dates, but that doesn't mean a guaranteed date when they'll hit stateside. As I mentioned above, every new model year the car is "held". I could have my ED on Oct 19th, and my car be held in customs until January 27th if something went screwy with the EPA.

Until the first 2016 M3/M4s actually get through customs, the rest can't be guaranteed a US-soil pick up date.

We are going to agree to disagree. Unless your car is the very first car delivered to the US - the logic just does not make sense.

Thats correct! You can try reaching out to them to see about scheduling as your car is about to hit the port... I was able to do mine within 1.5 weeks of arrival but I was pushing to get it delivered before Xmas. The PCD is active on another board I belong - not sure if here too.

Anyone able to track their 2016 ED specific car yet on the bmwusa website? How long does it normally take to come up?

This happens every single year for the first batch of model-year cars. I don't care if you agree with me, the facts/examples of this are more than I can count. Here's the first few I pulled via Google:

ED Pickup date confirmed for my first choice 9/15 11:40am. Doesn't this time conflict with the factory tour? Can I change it or is there more than one tour time?

Either way, WOOOOOOOOOOOO YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the only English tour is at 11:45, you may want to ask for a differnt time and see if they can accommodate you later in he day.

This is true. One English speaking tour per day, at 11:45. M-F

I also found out that due to insurance reasons you are only allowed to take the 11:45 English tour. They will not allow you in the other tours.

Thanks everyone. I asked them to change my delivery time to accomodate the tour. Crossing fingers.
