Agreed! The interior space of an F-Series car is not like that of an E60.

Might do the same thing, especially with all the carbon goodies, etc.
Gotta love the 3300lb curb weight!

I personally prefer the look of M4 over M3. Something about the F30 rear lights just doesn't cut it for me.

Plus, I saw an article on BIMMERPOST of a sakhir orange M4 w most camo off, the angle of the shot shows m4 has same flares in the rear.

The original E30 M3 das never an "Coupe" or called Coupe ... it was an 2-door Sedan !!!
While it is technically true that many people in the 80s referred to the original E30 M3 as a "two-door saloon car," this is less of a revelation and more of a lesson in changing car semantics.

Regardless of terminology, the 4-door variant of the M3 is not the model that has been continuous since the first generation. The 2-door M3 has existed for every generation until now, and people will still lament the loss of the moniker for that model.

In my book, it has less. Starting with a lower roof, and a lowered back which eats away rear headroom or trunk space.
But a coupe looks hotter/sleeker. The loss of some space is the trade off.
The M4 doesn't look as "tough" as the M3, period.

The M4 is sooooo sleek, it's lost it's muscularity and become eloquent and sexy. I guess a lot of women are buying BMW's M's now..? Men are Manly!! (I don't wear perfume, I wear Cologne).

Sleek doesn't mean "hotter" to me.. it means a car is longer than it should be, and they added length to make is sleek.
Sleek = marketing for "longer".

Simply put, the M3 has a much better "stance" than the M4.

Correct!! I think most of us will agree that the E92/93 has a more aggressive "stance" than the E90, but from all the pics we've seen, the new M3 gets the nod over the M4 in this area.

I'd disagree on this point. I think the E90M had a more aggressive stance than the E92M, and certainly the E93M. And in fact, the E90M was shorter and wider than the E92/3M, adding to that aggressive look.

So it seems BMW is just following suit from the current generation.

speechless! I'm so happy that they kept the traditional M3 name on the better looking M car. This thing just blows the 4 out of the water! Makes me proud to be a sedan guy!

I've never seen passengers in the back of any of the few E90Ms I have seen driving in my lifetime but I still find the E92/3M more aggressive especially in lighter colors. The E90M looks aggressive in silver/matte to me

The newer F30 m sports in AW look pretty good so I can only imagine how good the F80 will look in the flesh

The one thing I notice in my tuned F30 in comparison to my tuned E92M is that it has a very robust 3/4/5/6 gears in it like more of a top end. I have a feeling this new F80 will haul some major ass in those gears as well. There is just more dial-in and compliance in the F30

The key here is to drive it like you stole it not like a grandma in their nice new car
