BMS oil catch can?

Have any of you received any superfluous commentary from BMW service for having this can?

Given it's not CARB approved, what are the residual downsides of having this on a CA car?

Yes, you almost have to be OCD with maintaining your OCC. Mine is en route along with other BMS goodies.

They’ve never said anything to me about it.

The only downside is if you have excess fluid in the system and live in a cold climate, the fluid could freeze and cause a blockage which would lead to excess crankcase pressure.

For those using the BMS catch can, any issues with it rubbing against the coolant hose over time (like audible vibrations, leaks, damaged hose)?
