Congrats! My car was sitting at Quality Check for almost 2 weeks, was driving me insane until today when it changed.

I experienced that last week. Per the automated line and MyGarage, my car is at the port waiting to get on a ship. Does anyone know if the website tells you which ship, or do you need to find that information another way?

BMW's site updated on thursday saying my car was at port, so being that the site is a day or two behind, it's been at port for say a week now (as expected) I've seen 3 ships come and go from port since friday (yes i know, i have issues) i think my car is already on a ship, it just hasn't updated. BMW's site will not have the name of the ship. Your Salesman will. Since BMW genius is no longer a live person that can assist with this, i'm not sure if the automated line can tell you which ship its on. After you get the name of the ship, then you can search the vessel website with your VIN, afaik. |

By chance, are you doing PCD too or picking up at a dealer? Would be neat to meet another forum member

i was planning on doing PCD up until about 2 weeks ago. but then they emailed my dealer saying the earliest date available was July. I don't want to wait that long so a dealer down here is doing courtesy delivery. When did your car arrive to port? mine has been there since the 9th, although i suspect it's on a ship already. |

i don't even want to do courtesy delivery, it's costing an extra $500 to do that at a dealer down here, which i despise of. My goal was to never give a dealer down here one cent of my money. |

Ah sweet! As much as I'd like to do courtesy dealer to the dealer 15mins away from me, it'd be my first time doing PCD, so I might as well get the 1st time experience.
Any tips or insight about PCD if you've done it previously? I just want to skip forward all the morning stuff straight to getting into my car lols |

hell, i wish i could give you something brother... but i got nothing. Last time i placed an order was 2 years ago, and when the car got to port, BMW issued a recall on the driveshafts (some may remember this) and there was no timeframe on the fix, so i ditched the car and had the dealer find me one locally. Waited 3 months for special order car, was going to do PCD, everyting.. Now my father orders his f90M, and we were planning to do PCD, but they said they do not have any spots available till July. So again, no go. Guess it's not meant to be.. |

Wow! Sorry to hear that...bummer.
Another M5er here too [like TrevorM3(aka M5)] ‘-)) - or at least I will be soon. My 2019 F90 M5 went into production on 5/20 (I placed the order on 5/18) and as of today (5/29) it is in the status of: Awaiting Carrier Assignment. Based upon the horror stories I’ve read on several forums, my order seems to be progressing fairly rapidly. However, based on the same info, it’ll probably be another month+ of sitting around at both ports and In-Transit. Hoping it doesn’t... |
