Roughly speaking, pre-covid, a good negotiator willing to shop around used to be able to get 10%+ off MSRP before incentives and I'd say the average for someone willing to negotiate was 5%-6%. For example, brokers & sourcing salespeople would routinely offer these discounts to start. Nowadays it's probably 5% for someone willing to work, 7%-8% being exceptional deals. |

Concerning the mod game, we’re on the board! This is the first of much which will be done and I have tons of parts on the way!
VLand knock off OLEDs purchased off Amazon arrived and I installed in about an hour. I had already installed LCI tails on my 15 M4 awhile back, so knew going in what to expect. These knock offs are FAR better than I expected! Fit and finish are damned near FLAWLESS, I’d read some stories and was unsure going in but they fit perfectly and are gorgeous. They’re worth way more than the asking price, absolutely transform the rear (especially on a 15 with the ancient stock tails). The middle lights line up perfectly when you know the trick, which I learned when installing LCI lights awhile ago. Couldn’t be happier! Awaiting arrival of next parts now!! |

re minimal mods agree with you gents … kinda done with extensive mods unless I build a hard core track car with cage etc
so far the only mods are front and rear reflector delete and blacklines … pretty much just to clean up orange and red also full ppf and ceramic coating |

Just finished watching it. Very excited for this car, reviews have been nothing but stellar and many have mentioned a surprising improvement in traction. The CT5 (particularly the manual) is destined to be a future classic as the final V8 Manual Sedan on the market.

Bit off topic fun bit of news,
Norway have ordered Ford Explorer hybrids to replace the police BMW X5's from 2022. It is a rechargeable hybrid with a total of 457 horsepower divided into a three-liter V6 petrol engine with 357 horsepower and an electric motor with 100 horsepower and not the American police spec as they will be built locally to police spec. They've stated: The vehicles are adapted to the requirements of the emergency response units in connection with payloads, driving characteristics, terrain characteristics and load capacity. Failure to charge will not affect the performance of the vehicle. The car does not use up all the power, and charges when braking and using the engine if necessary. It is also possible to choose whether you want to drive all-electric or only with the internal combustion engine, whichever is desired. Sedan_Clan Seems like a testing ground for your new to be patrol cars RIP |

2018, I walked into a BMW dealer here and got, if I recall, almost 20% off without even saying a word. I think it basically erased the price of the chosen options. Then there were some factory incentives on Individual leather, etc. It's almost rude not to get a discount and with premium marques, it is (or was before covid, idk the situation now) pretty much normal to get a relatively large discount and the rule is, the more options you get, the bigger the discount. Probably different now, I've no idea.

Regular police cars are Merc Vito's, Ford Focus (undercover/not marked) and BMW 5-series. I believe they recently decided to go with Volvo V90CC for small patrol cars and K9, replacing the 5-series. |

Hit list #2. Basically brand new steering wheel etc installed with carbon flappy paddles. I’m likely going to run this for awhile then send out the one I replaced to Coby for a nice rewrap. Lots of carbon stuff arriving this weekend, lip, side skirts, CS spoiler, and Vorsteiner diffuser again because nobody does the rear better!

And Zodiac makes a bit more spendy 70s inspired stuff One of my favorite watches is still my Bathys Benthic Ti which was a small microbrand out of Kauai, HI. That one was hand-delivered to me by the owner on the island and it's still one of my daily drivers - unfortunately he had some family stuff and had to close it down |
