Cool What's this streak?

Does anyone know what this streak may be? Since I picked up my car from Spartanburg, a couple of months ago, the only thing I have done:
Maguires car wash and dry.
Maguires spray that makes it shine

I only did the above twice

Today i did maguires car wash and Zaino polish.

I've tried rubbing this with some of the polish, hard, but it won't budge. It looks like streaks

On the paint itself I have some water stains...could it be the water in my house damages the clear coat?

Hard to tell; looks like a scratch to me. What Zaino product did you use? Z2 and is a sealant only and does not have any corrective properties. Z5 will correct swirls and fine scratches, but not what is shown. Z-AIO has light polishing abilities. The main Zaino polish is Z-PC, which might work, or you may need something more abrasive.

Hard water spots can etch the paint if not taken care of quickly. Use some corrective polish (e.g., Z-PC) and see if the water stains come out.

Hit it with a rubbing compound and it'll come out.

Hard water spots? Those are a PITA but Meguiar's and others make products for this which I would try first.

This is also a good article on hard water spots: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...pots-hand.html

Ok...I thought you were referring to what looks like a scratch in the upper right - possibly just a reflection. Anyway, as above Z2 won't work, use a polishing compound of some sort and they should be gone. GL

Might work. If you have it, try it out. In terms of Zaino products, Z-PC is what you probably need. However, any polishing compound/scratch remover will likely work on the gloss black trim.

OK...i just worry it might damage the gloss black trim...I'm not sure how that differs from the paint (in terms of how it is made and how it works)

The gloss black trim is one area i just normally leave to wash and polish
