As of this morning the Thalatta is (roughly) 300 km east of Cape Cod. It should be able to reach the port at NJ late today. Perhaps there's a lot of traffic at the port forcing the vessel to stay at sea until tomorrow.

Also - seems that it was over 300 nm away 3 hours ago so even mathematically it would take until just before tomorrow to get in. |

As the crow flies, she's 302nm from USNYC, which at 17.4 knots is about 17.4 hours. Obviously, she's not sailing as the crow flies, but close. And will be slower in the harbor - but I still think < 19 hours is a reasonable guess for time to dock, which puts it at about 3:30am CST, or 4:30am EST. Provided those port workers start at 6am or earlier (as they should) the cars should be unloaded tomorrow!

Yep. I've always gotten mine within 3 days believe it or not. I always read of people that say the dealership received their cars so they can pick them up in 4 more days and I never understood that. I typically pick it up the same day or next depending on what time of the day it comes in.

I'm not getting my hopes up on receiving my car anytime soon. I saw on another post that a guy's (BavarianFanatic) ED redelivery M sat in customs for at least 5 days before being released. It's good to know she is at least on U.S. soil now.

[QUOTE=trey100;19927206]Yes ED is a different process from what I understand but it's just a matter of days at this point.[/QUOTE
