Recommend carbon fiber brands

What carbon fiber brands does the forum members recommend? I want to start adding exterior pieces to my Mineral White Metallic ///M4. Is there any brands to definitely stay away from?

Thank you,
b

The roundels I got from http://www.jbspeed.com/ were very nice. OEM means overpriced equipment manufacturer

I was happy with my Mode Carbon pieces (diffuser and rear spoiler).

I have purchased RW carbon(front splitter, rear diffuser) and have been very happy with it for the price. I also purchased cf rear view mirror covers from dinan and they are total crap. I would stay away from those.

OEM (M Performance). It’s more expensive but quality control and fitment are spot on - so I would use them for big/high visibility pieces. Tried RW, but their quality control was pretty bad (great customer service though). Bought carbon exhaust tips from XPH - those look great.

I will definitely be doing OEM rear spoiler & side mirror caps. I was hoping to go after market on the Rear diffuser and the front bumper parts.

Go OEM for the diffuser as well. There's always used ones for sale in mint condition for half price. I got mine for 500 bucks and only had 3000 miles. While knock off ones fit decent, the finish is usually garbage, it's overlaid carbon on fiberglass, and doesn't last. Unless it's from RKP and that's the same price as oem.

You can't go wrong with RKP and M Performance. I have used both across several M cars and the quality has been top notch. The recommendations I'm seeing for Mode Carbon and RW Carbon are highly questionable. If high quality carbon fiber is a priority, I would not buy pieces from either.

^What he/she said^

I sold my OEM diffuser to a lucky new-ish M4 owner for half of what I bought it for.

Check the exterior parts sub-forum

I had a good experience with RW Carbon.. I know they get mixed reviews but I'm very happy with their CS Lip and CS Rear Spoiler. I was all OEM before using them but I couldn't find a reasonably priced CS Lip so I gave them a shot and liked it so much I bought the rear spoiler too.
