These i4 & G82 M4 reveals make me feel like a kid again!

i4 concept preview is March 3, G82 M4 reveal in Aug (maybe?) which has you more excited and why?

More so for the G82, since the i4 will just be a concept (even if it is close to production, nothing too official) and I'm ready for BMW to rip off the band-aid that is the atrocious full length grill already, and just show us the damn car. However for the future, I'm more excited to see the production i4, to see if BMW has finally a worthy opponent to Tesla.

It's as if they're hiding a mistake.

Just so happens I'm in the negotiation process for a 2020cs, these futuristic bimmers are sending me back to the future. How do you like the auto?

I actually like it more than I thought I would.... Definitely miss the manual, but can honesty say the CS is the best BMW I've ever owned....!

Coming from (2) E92 M3's and an F82 M4 all manuals.....

Both cars look like rubbish with the i4 being downright offensive. BMW has lost their marbles.

Most likely no CFRP driveshaft, no DCT (RWD&DCT if they do which is good), heavy and fugly.

What is there to like about G80/G82?

For me personally it’s not worth an upgrade.

1. Motor won’t be much different and mine is already powerful enough with stage 1
2. Engine note won’t be improved (new x3M sounds awful)
3. Interior is sliiiiightly different but not mind blowing
4. More focus on tech versus “ultimate driving machine” - does not appeal to me as a daily driver

So glad to hear I'll have mine before the months out. Only dilemma is a choice between 2 colors...SMB or AW, 2 of my last 3 autos have been white so somewhat bummed. What color you?!

SMB Looks even better in person, only good about the white is it keeps down the attention. Thanks again....

I have SMB, and in my opinion it's tied for the Best Blue that BMW has to offer. (Velvet Blue is amazing as well). I honestly feel the lines on the car pop a lot more with the SMB when compared to White. Specifically the hood scoop!

My 2017 M4 was Alpine White, and although I did love the look of that color on an M4, you just can't beat SMB! My favorite is the color change. See attached pic
