I was putting on shoes, when a robot Hoover hit me ever so softly. To get out of his way I took a side step and I'm not exactly sure how it's possible even but all the muscles on the side that has the broken ribs are now cramping.

So let's go through this again. I got broken ribs that got more fucked now thanks to a robot cleaner and I've been taking ibuprofen 2 times the recommended amount just to keep breathing for two days now.

Anyway, I should have the old side halfway done today, depending on how slow the paint removing thingy goes thanks to these stupid ribs and back muscles.

I'll just end this with a quote from my doctor and hubby since those two now apparently do choir concerts.

"You live four kilometers from the nearest ER. You can just drive in, they'll give you a shot of muscle relaxant and then be done with it but your way probably works too".

Mean people are mean a lot.

Well miracles do happen apparently.

I have to go cart around drunken teenagers tonight (25 is a teenager.) so I got kicked out from the site since I finally have reached the point where I can't lift my right arm above my shoulder level. The whole side, the fractures and now the muscle spasm together turned switching a door to a smallish window hell so when it was finally done and the wall was built, hubby sent me to bed. I was in too much pain to argue.

All in all, I don't think I can claim this weekend as a success for my side of the house but with me gone maybe he can get water working! And the bathtub out.

This is yet again a new low is all what can I say!

As told, I got booted out from the site on Saturday. Sunday I went back in but it was pretty clear all I could do was to kick stuff in to piles. I couldn't bend down or reach up, lift of carry.

After three hours the really mean hubby kicked me out and drove me home. Then we had yet an other nice chat about me hauling my stupid ass to a doctor again. The thing is, no doctor can help if the patient doesn't take meds.

Anyway, in two hours my back, side and shoulder muscles had all gone to a cramp kinda state we here call noidannuoli, a witches arrow. It is what happens when other muscles start protecting the one that's the sore one.

After I couldn't breathe well anymore the kids called the family doctor and got me the good meds. Anyway... Now I'm on a strict diet of muscle relaxants that scare the crap out of me and ibuprofen which has become my bestie. The cracked ribs got this one started and now I'm trying something I've never done before: bed rest. For a whole day. The shoulders and the back and most of the side have relaxed now but the stupid tiny muscle that's located right next to or under the ribs is still not acting properly. I hope this will end today because I'm now so badly behind the chedule I will need to go in tomorrow or hire a crew to finish this up. I have 10 days before we are moving and I still haven't told the hubby we are mildly screwed.

Good luck Anna, I know this isn’t your style, but maybe just once try listening to your husband and Dr. Get some rest so you can heal before you really screw some other body parts up and are in much worse shape for a lot longer. I can’t do heavy things like muscle relaxants either, I don’t like how I get transported to another planet. I usually just stick with ibuprofen. I hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, I reached the point where I had to listen to them for sure. Funny thing that breathing, you just kinda really want to keep doing it.

I am listening to them! I'm in bed and I won't be leaving it till tomorrow! They suggested a week so I think I was extremely lenient towards their wishes. It's not my fault that duo is over careful and just because they know me and my history as the worst patient in the world doesn't mean they'd be right!

In the last 18 years I've eaten a handful of ibuprofens and one round of antibiotics. This time around I might have to admit that taking meds sure is working for me.

I thought I told you we gave the bear away to friend. The wifey apparently couldn’t take a new puppy after a few weeks. My daughter and I are not happy at all with the decision, but it is what it is. The wife does feel,quite bad, which has allowed me to push trough some mods on my car. All kidding aside we are really bummed he isn’t here, but he is happy at the hobby farm we brought him to. They have a couple of other Newfs that he is happy to play with all day and a bunch of land to run around in.

There is a slight chance I'll be breaking my previous records in stupidity today. All signs are pointing that way since I'm on a bad mood and I started to take it out on a stupid fireplace.

First it was just me, and a crowbar. Then a sledge hammer joined the party. Now I hauled the tiny drill thingy that uses electricity to the mess.

The first day I can walk straight again was meant to be easy and I was supposed to act like a responsible adult. I could've just painted something.


Now that thingy is stuck and I'm going to need some alcohol before this will be declared as a win.

It was fun. Basically my home.

I go back basically for my cousin now so. It has its perks, things are close and handy.

What isn't fun is the long ass flight. Ugh
