F90 is more comfortable. Giulia is somewhere between F80 CP and F90.

nice pick up.

I've had a lot of BMW friends make the jump after a test drive as well. much more character in the alfa.

the lack of manual is still the deal breaker for me .

Strong!! So knowing your stable and priors, how does it drive from a cornering perspective and straightline speed. Is it really what some of the reviews make it out to be?

Elitex, your car looks great with the lowering springs. I have an ‘18 with the higher ride height and some days, the gap drives me nuts and on others, I appreciate it for the extra clearance. Especially since this is my daily driver, including winter driving and mountain bike duty. But it looks way better lowered or at the ‘17 ride height. I have the light Tecnico wheels for winter and dark 5 holes for summer. Nice to have the change of scenery but the forged wheels are definitely a better spec.

This car feels pretty good so far. Not sure about handling just yet. Need to take it up to the mountains and open her up a bit. Power feels very Ferrari esque. Lots of torque limitation on first gear then let's lose in second and above and builds all the way to redline.

TBH, I am enjoying this car so far. No issues so far either. No hiccups, or check engine light or anything like that. Funny thing is that I also bought a new G05 X5 50i and already experienced a check engine light within 1k miles. And ppl are afraid of Alfa. Lol.

KW just released a DDC adjustable height coilovers. I would go this route. You retain the DDC functionality and gain the ability to set the ride height. When I bought my springs, this was not available. I'll probably wait a bit and go this route myself.

This car looks incredible in person when lowered. 2018 ride height is just too high.

So the 2018 has a higher ride height than 2017?

Yep. For some reason, they decided to raise it an inch over the 17 models. I heard that some people complained that it was too low.

I see, looking at pics of 18 and 19s they look like there still on shipping blocks.

I'm just thinking that raising the center of gravity by a full inch mustn't be too good on cornering performance (increased weight transfer).

I was just making a dumb joke. But, I agree that is a rather large change to the setup. I wonder if the reviewers that were saying it is nearly perfect dynamically would have a different opinion with the increased ride height.

The height of the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Giulia Quadrifoglio are all the same 56.1” overall height. Not sure how that different ride heights misinformation has made the rounds, but think it started via an anecdotal commentary on the Giulia Forum, not from actual documented Alfa technical specs.

On the 18, 19s it physically looks higher than the 17s to me.

Looks great congrats!

I cross shopped long and hard with the Giulia QV and ultimately it was the exterior looks of the '18 M3 that won me over. But driving dynamics are definitely superior in the Alfa. Also it definitely had a more comfortable ride.

If Alfa is still around in the next 10 years or so I'll definitely consider one.

Great looking Alfa elitex. Congrats on your purchase. I may need to head up your way to take a look at it. Again, congrats!
