I am so glad I have other things keeping me busy. I would have been freaking out otherwise.

+1. I can't either. But I was told that I should be able to add it once it's in production.

Called the Genius line today and found out I'm week 29. He said it should be done by the end of the month, but that would be week 30, so maybe BMW uses different build weeks?
I'm doing PCD, which hopefully will be around mid September. Fingers crossed! M4 SO/BK ZCP (and pretty much everything else except CCB). Can't wait. |

My M4 completed production on July 5th. I'll have to call BMW Genius in the morning to see if it's already on a ship or when it's scheduled to be. Now the long wait begins.

BMW Genius doesn't get status updates for Canadian cars. I tried, best to call BMW Canada to get an update. My '17 M3 has a production date of July 5th for a ED on July 22.

I ordered on June 16 with a week 27 production date (est. completion by July 6).
When I called the Genius line on July 6, I was told that my car completed production. When I called again today, I was told that my car is in quality control. When I called the automated line on July 6, I was told that production is complete that my "vehicle is in transport to the port of exit". Since the weekend, my car is now "waiting to be released to the carrier". Anyone else receiving the conflicting information from Genius? |

I'm not sure that information does conflict. I'm not sure if BMW does this, but I know some manufacturers will pull out random vehicles for a last minute QC check. If that happens, the status could technically still be "vehicle is in transport to the port of exit", depending on your point of view.
I know when I ordered my Jeep everyone on those boards was dreading the "pulled out for QC" check, because it could take up to a month just for that step. |

Just called BMW genius and they didn't even ask for my production number. They just pulled it through my phone number. Either it's a new thing or I have called them way too many times.
Anyways, still not in production.

I ordered my car on Monday 7/11 and the car just went into production today (7/15). However, the automated message said my car's production completion date is 8/2, which is more than two weeks after production starts. I've ordered two cars (one M3 and the other 435i) before and both finished product in one week. Has anyone ever experienced the long production time?

I think we're all pretty much impacted by the delivery stop due to the rear diff issue.
My car rolled off the production line on 7/5 but it's still sitting in Germany with a delivery stop. I was hoping it would be on a ship by now but guess I'll just have to wait a little longer. |
