This sucks

But I am guessing the renter(s) pick this car so that they can do burnouts, sliding, drifting, not so they can drive it around like their own car

People abuse regular low powered rental cars, so I would expect the same behavior when they rent a 400hp car

I've heard of shops now renting cars on Turo for wheel test fitments/photoshoots. Could possibly be what happened here and wheels were never torqued properly.

+1, looks like the renter was possibly drifting in the street or closed road and hit a curb or a NJ size pothole to take off a rib of a forged wheel.

This is why I don't give out any of my car's or toys.. need a car, call Uber or Hertz..

Turo will not cover you or they have a very high deductible like Uber, 1K deductible for any accidents while driving

Good luck and let us know how it turned out..

So an undertorqued wheel makes an ungodly clattering sound once the wheel gets loose enough from the hub. It sounds like your wheel is about to come off because....well, that's exactly what's happening.

Did your renter hear anything like that? I'm one of those idiots who has experience driving off without fully tightening his wheel, and you have plenty of time to realize something is wrong before disaster strikes. Assuming normal driving, of course.
