I tell everyone no matter what you do make sure you get something in writing stating you are on the list wherever you pick bc when push comes to shove and you call asking about your place in line etc it's very easy for a dealer to pretend they don't know what your talking about. You like to think they wouldn't do it but it's always safe to get it in writing or put a deposit down

Can you do ED on a lease? I've done leases and purchases but never european delivery.

Will this lower the monthly payment significantly?

Happy to report I confirmed my spot on M4 ED today! Now it's just a waiting game...

I've heard rumors of a "Yas Marina" Blue color that will be new with the launch of this car. Can anyone confirm/deny this rumor?

Yas Marina Blue is inofficially confirmed by Scott26 the BMW insider here. There was a test mule covered in white wrap where the real paint was showing in some areas that Scott26 refered to as Yas Marina Blue.

Thank you. Any sense as to what shade of blue the color is (ie. lighter like estoril, or darker like san marino)?

When was the last time that a new BMW was launched and it DID NOT come out of dealer allocations?

^^I believe the last time was the f10 M5 very briefly when it came out. Before that it was back in 09.

I guess the current 4 series ED program (cars counting toward US allocation) is a bad sign for M3 invoice pricing?

^^correct most likely it will be ED MSRP at the least if they are coming out of US allocations. US deliveries will most likely be MSRP as well and you will see A LOT of dealers mark it up over MSRP at the beginning to try and ride the initial hype of the cars.

I'm planning on getting the M4 after the LCI update. But, if they offer ED not out of dealer allocations, and I could get a great deal, I would jump on it.

Either way, plan on doing an ED, just not sure when.

^^Nothing yet. Most likely will not hear anything till early next year.

As of now all the newest models are still requiring ED orders to come out of US allocations. This is not a good sign but who knows, only time will tell. ED invoice is prob something of the past IMO. ED MSRP or slightly under would most likely be the cheapest you will be able to get ED orders for now on. Most dealers will charge ED MSRP +

Wow, so that includes not just M models but 3, 4, 5, 6 Series, etc? That's unfortunate if so. Sort of puts a damper on ED although just getting the lower MSRP still makes for a great deal considering how fun the experience is.

As long as ed orders come out of us allocations I would say yes ed msrp. It wouldn't make any sense for a dealer to go any lower.

Wait is ED invoice lower than US invoice, or are you dealers losing money on ED?

I would assume that <ED MSRP is just like negotiating <US MSRP, or do you make less?

Sorry if I misunderstood.
