Online dating is rough going for both men and women. There's not enough time to list the reasons it sucks for each side. Genuine women deal with thirsty guys, and genuine guys deal with gifts to God's green earth. There are some good ones out there, but you have to bring a weed whacker to cut through all the brush.

I'm a fish out of water in a club anyhow, and I understand not all folk are, but I always had best success (not just hook-ups) meeting and dating people in climbing gyms...I used to climb a lot!

People do cool stuff to post, I do cool stuff and post just in case someone wants to stalk me (women my age have INSANE stalk game). Social credibility also comes to play - "oh this dude can do cool stuff and hang with people"

All my pics on there are taken on my phone (a regular iphone) by generally a chick around my age. Guys also suck a lot at taking pictures I've came to notice. Plus cool memories and talking points!!!!

Pickle, at 44, I can assure you that the "cool stuff" that I do is not for the masses to witness. Honestly, I don't go anywhere or do anything other than work, the gym and typical house chores/spending time with the girlfriend. Due to our current covid situation here, along with extremely cold weather, going out or doing anything fun just isn't happening right now.
