Recently I've added the Turner Motorsports oil cooler skid plate, and my KG Splitters gloss black extensions. Feeling more put together now.

Been a while since I've made any changes but I got some staggered ferrada fr3's, and I'm loving the fitment and look.

The ever polarizing paint matched reflectors! Been through this once already on bimmerpost so save your breath. I like em just fine, and I run my lights all the time. Cheers

In March 2020 I decided to get my first BMW. It was a jet black 2013 328i sport line. Hella base. small screen. Cool dad shades though. Loved that car. Modded her. Took tremendous care of her, even though she sounded like she was gargling screws. Was incredibly stoked on the car. Until I discovered the dreaded timing chain issue. Once BMW settled the lawsuit I knew I had to get rid of her. I took the money required to do the timing chain guides and made a move. That was October 2020.

I welcomed my first BMW 6 cylinder with open arms. A 2015 435 m sport.. Fully loaded. Minus adaptive dampers, blue brakes, and heated steering. A beauty. Well maintained. I went immediately to work. My 435i got all the treatments. Stage 2 bm3. Beauty mods I enjoy. New wheels. Meticulous maintenance. A fairly inexpensive car that garnered a lot of attention, that I was very proud of. That brings me to this week.

For many of us who love BMW the M is the pinnacle. The m4 being my personal dream car. On Friday night I was messing around on BMWUSA website building a 2022 g82 m4. At the end of my $95k build it asked if I wanted to check the trade value of my car. I did. They offered $18k and it said "local dealer may contact you". I literally thought nothing of this. Next day, my brother's friend John texts me up, tells me he works at BMW here, and ABSOLUTELY HAS AN M4 HE CAN GET ME IN. Honestly I had just added coilovers and did the brakes on the 435i a little over a week ago. Had the ofhg fixed too. But to his credit, he did have a gorgeous, incredibly well maintained, winter garaged, 2016 mineral white m4 with 30500 miles. Non comp, pre lci, with 437m's, mpss's, front led's, executive package, dct, rear shade, full merino leather, enhanced Bluetooth, black grilles, and m perf exhaust and titanium tips. He was able to get me a price low enough that even with loan rollover I was only a couple thousand above clean retail value. Put down a few grand, got a great rate, and today I am the owner of my dream car (and a higher car payment). Let the build begin!

Well y'all, allow me to add to this story. My m4 was my dream car. But sometimes when we get to where our dreams lead, the reality isn't what we thought it would be.

I enjoyed my personal build, and loved so much about the car. But in the 10 months I had with her, she kind of always had something minor wrong. Not to mention a cracked version 1 MPE, and the cold start tick. And for whatever reason, both my previous 435i and the m4 hurt my lower back. So I was at the dealership getting another minor repair and while I waited I just had a look around.

Man I did not plan to trade in my car, but I sure enough did. They gave me a high enough trade value that I broke even on the m4 after 15k miles and 10 months, and I drove away in a 2020 M2c in hockenheim silver with 30k on the clock, executive, m performance cf mirror caps, diffuser, and spoiler, and 788's... and wait for it... a manual transmission. This car is so clean. The interior is impeccable. Obviously not as plush feeling as even my 2016 m4 with full merino leather, but very enjoyable still. Not going to say I got a great deal, but it was in line or better than competitors, and they came up on the trade to break me even like I said.

The M2c is a literal joy to drive. My wheels will fit her, some parts are already ordered, and now, you can find me in the m2 forum, starting another build. I may be addicted.

(Attached: a pic of the m4 while I pull away in the m2c, a showroom pickup pic of the m2c, and some shots from her first shoot)
