Hey guys just wanted to share a few pictures with you OEM 18' guys.

New pictures including the fronts, drove about 30 miles and some harder driving and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face!!

none, cars being detailed right now and then the 275's will be on the front. ill get 10 pictures for you guys. honestly this thing in the rear sits the way it should.

Nope the stock 275 have a 40 profile. to match the rears i had to get 35 profile.
sucks but it is worth it.

I think I would have stuck with the 40s in front... The 295/35 is much closer to the stock overall size.

Ahhh i see, i was going off another forum members reccomendation... luckily didnt cost me more then $50.00 for the change so im not all that worried. more pictures to come soon

The only issue with running the 275/40 up front with the 295/35 rear would be the ABS/DSC intervention. The front tire would be taller than the rear which those systems don't like. I believe it's better to keep the F/R height difference close to oem.

That was precisely what I suggested.

Don't let the aspect ratio fool you, it's a 295 tire that is closer in size to the the 275/40 than the 275/35. Yes it's taller than the rear, but it's closer in size to the OEM tires.

You have over an inch in height difference going with the 35!

If I understand your post correctly, you are suggesting he run the 295/35 rear with 275/40 in the front, correct?

Yes, the speedo error will be less, but the stock speedo already errs on the side of caution (reads lower than "true" road speed by ~5% IIRC). The speedo error should not be the main concern. The main concern should be the difference in height between the front and rear tires.

OEM: Front - 255/40R18 diam: 26"
Rear - 275/40R18 diam: 26.66"

Option 1: Front - 275/35R18 diam: 25.58"
Rear - 295/35R18 diam: 26.13"

Option 2: Front - 275/40R18 diam: 26.66"
Rear - 295/35R18 diam: 26.13"

In option 1, the F/R height difference is closer to that of OEM than option 2. With option 2, the front height is taller than the rear height and the MDM/TC system does not like that as it will intervene more since it will think the rear is spinning faster than the fronts.

I forgot I wasn't calculating the difference between the OEM fronts, just the difference between the two 275 tires.
