Care to elaborate on what needed to be customized on the fuel lines in order for both products to work? was it mainly with the end fittings?

Thanks again! Such an amazing build!
I might be wrong but i believe some of the end fittings did not work together from the Y pump you get from Fuel-It. The PI rail from Fuel-It is also removed once the EOS manifold goes in too so new lines had to be run for that.

I'm an ok driver... definitely not the best or fastest. I have about 8 circuit track days under my belt now all from this year besides one. This car has seen 5 track days total; 2 track days since building the motor with Pureturbos Stage 2 turbos and 2 of them with the Kratos. I have never had issues with the car on the track.

Again, please go vote for my car to win 2019 PBMW Car of the Year!

Here are some new additions to the car.

My main goal right now is to get better cooling components, some weight reduction, and better traction control so that i can be fully prepared for the upcoming events next year. The plan for this upcoming year is to beat the car around twistys, attend both Shift-Sectors coming to Texas and let it rip down the 1/4mi. I have a backup set of axles now as well.

Pictured below is Wagner Tuning's Radiator Kit and some more SPL Titanium goodies.

The car is almost complete

I installed an Evolution of Speed intercooler to replace CSF intercooler. I did 11 runs back to back on the dyno to smoothen out a new 93 map. It was cooler than a CSF intercooler that was sitting idle for 10mins.

The EOS intercooler i have has a custom core inside which makes it 1/1. It is nothing short of amazing. Here’s some pictures of it installed. It is about 1.5” bigger than a CSF intercooler.

Here's some pictures before my new wheels go on

Very interesting! Personally, I've never been a fan of the CSF charge air cooler due to the lack of technical data, and absurd price point. What made you consider switching to EoS, or replacing the CSF unit in general?

I got the filters from ASR. I do not believe they're produced anymore.

The CSF works great. The main reason i replaced it is because they were the only choice available that i can remember when i built my car. I did not have choices like Wagner, BMS, Garrett and others that are available today. So you could call the CSF components a little "dated" compared to what's available on the market now.

I am also shifting my focus on the car now to upgrade these "dated" parts and replacing them with better options now that i know more. For example, my Brixton forged wheels are beautiful but they are not by any means lightweight or performance orientated.

I am going to be tracking the car a lot now that all of the big upgrades are done. I will need the best cooling components possible for the car. I have brake cooling ducts on the way to help cooling too.

The titanium exhaust, performance 18" wheels, and brake cooling ducts will all be finished by the end of January in time for the first track days next year

Thank you. I bought the car used with 20k miles on it. I have roughly 40k miles on it right now. I've owned the car for 2 years now but it was in someone else's garage for a long time

I do daily the car but since it is a coupe we normally take the family car for longer trips or to go eat. I have run through a full tank of E85 in one day but on normal days, a full tank of E85 will last me 2-3 days. I keep my ethanol content consistent at E80. My local Kroger has great ethanol fuel but i do keep E90 in my garage for backup

I run Motul oil and intervals are done no more than every 3000miles unless i've been driving the car hard.

Here's some pictures i captured earlier today after getting some ceramic pro done to it.

Got you, funny thanks. Just bought a M3 with 50k. I am about to do an oil change and my co worker was telling me to go with Motul 8100 X-cess.

Here’s my new 18” Signature Wheels SV107 wrapped in R888R’s. These look great, are lightweight and will definitely help with traction.

Lastly, polls for Performance BMW Magazine’s 2019 Car of the Year is still open until Friday. If everyone can spare a few seconds and vote once or twice a day for me then i will highly appreciate it.

I started this thread to help the platform grow and will continue to post updates as i can. Every vote counts.

Cheers to 2020!

Beautiful car - voted.

You should check out the thread on equal length exhaust to improve the sound of the car.

You may as well build something that sounds the best it can as well!

Thank you for the vote! I am following the thread it is very interesting. I've thought about chopping up a stock exhaust and trying it out.

My new exhaust is still undergoing development. They're still testing some new things as titanium is a a bit trickier than other metals.

I've been beating my head over TMIC's and wanting to pull the trigger on an EOS myself. Aside from cooler temps, did you see any gains in performance while swapping to this versus the CSF?

The cooler temps will lower IAT's so performance gains will always be there. The cooler the car, the better and longer it will be able to keep delivering the same power output.

Once IAT's get high then your power output will suffer and you'll get some heatsoak. That's why people run things such as FI Interchillers, custom ice tanks, placing ice bags on their intercooler, or E85+methanol. The methanol is there for extra cooling if combined with E85 but also acts as a safety net incase the ethanol content is poor.

I had an issue with the Kratos turbos awhile back and sent them to Kratos to repair it. I did not agree with the warranty assessment they provided to me and i still do not.

Abid, Kratos's Chief Engineer stated that the failure was not turbo related and it was due to me running Liquimoly oil. He stated that Liquimoly is a bad oil and the turbos were ruined by oil contamination. I do not agree with this one bit as Liquimoly is not bad oil otherwise it would not be such an established brand. Abid also advised that i should not run the Kratos turbos as high powered as i did for daily use. However, it is my car and i will do as i please with my car.

If Liquimoly is such a terrible oil, i don't see why they would promote the fact that the turbos were tested through endurance racing because Strommotorsports ran Liquimoly during their endurance racing with the Kratos turbos. If they did not, then please explain the Liquimoly oil stickers all over their car. You can find pictures of the Strommotorsports car on ASR Kratos's instagram page.

I had a slight whistling noise coming from my engine bay after less than 500 miles from receiving them back from Kratos's warranty work as stated in the Doc Race turbo kit thread. Therefore i had the turbos pulled for inspection and did all of the testing you can do to ensure my engine was not bad. My CarBahn engine passed every test with flying colors.

Due to the fact that i did not agree with Kratos's first warranty report, I had them inspected by a third party so that Abid is not the judge, jury and executioner. I understand letting someone else inspect the turbos is against warranty and if you guys have read my build thread, it is obvious that i do not need money to fix or buy turbos.

I brought them to Forced Performance, otherwise known as one of the best turbo companies in the world as they work closely with Xona Rotors. I do not need to explain how reputable Xona Rotors or Forced Performance is. You can do a quick google search for that. Although Kratos states that their turbos use proprietary parts, that's great for them but at the end of the day, turbos are turbos. Forced Performance did not replace any parts or service them. The turbos were simply disassembled and then reassembled to make sure that nothing was broken before i sold it. Since the turbos were still operational before i brought them in and nothing was broken upon inspection by my third party, i sold them.

I never found out what the root cause of the whistling noise was but my car is currently running perfectly fine with Pureturbos. I do not know what turbos i am going to run next but as of now, i'm going to enjoy the car as is around 600whp on 93OCT.

There is absolutely no other warranty report about my previously owned Kratos turbos besides this one that i have included in this post. There are no pictures that will be shared upon my third party inspection either as i am not going to post what parts Kratos uses as they are proprietary to Kratos and i am not going to disrespect them by posting what parts they use. There is not a service report from my third party either as they were not serviced as i stated above.

If anybody wants to find out what are used inside Kratos turbos, disassemble your own set of Kratos.

The attached pictures are from what Kratos included in my first warranty report. If these pictures show something proprietary, i apologize in advance but i am here to clear the air and i will only post what Kratos has shared with my previously owned Kratos turbos.

Again, i would like to reiterate that this is a thread i created to help grow the platform and i would like this thread to be related to my car only. If anybody wants to open a separate thread about Kratos or discuss them, do it in another thread so that this featured thread stays on topic about my car and my car only.

I would hate for this thread to get locked or deleted as you will probably never see another thread where the owner posts every mod used and what it takes to get this platform to 1000WHP. I do not know what it takes to get threads locked but a few of the other threads Kratos created are locked.

This is my side of the story regarding the turbos and my car and not opinions stated by others in the Doc Race thread.

I will continue to push my car and this platform and i intend to keep posting updates on my car in this thread.

Nice build and sucks that you're at 600whp. I'm sure that's why you built your car and went with Kratos turbos.

Have you ever tried to search for these pending patents? I tried as US current or pending patents can be searched for. I don't have the patent numbers but I'm sure ASR Kratos can provide them as it can be in the public domain. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's spent 8k or thinking about spending 8k that would want to know.

Thanks for providing this info; definitely appreciate you shedding some light on these turbos which many of us have been considering for upgrades. So it would seem these turbos aren't made for 1000rwhp and really are only 850rwhp efficient then.
