Favorite uncommon interior mod

What will be your favorite interior mod (except m1,m2, red start button and other OE or Mperformance parts.

Mine would be 3D design handbrake and the gauge pod. Please share yours.

I got the dash mount gauge pod from PodWurx (through Kies) and it's a nice alternative to the vent pod. It only blocks the iDrive screen where the CarPlay icon sits, which is no big deal. A little black tape around the Snow gauge made it fit nice and snug.

If it's really hot or sunny where you live then maybe stick with a vent pod, so the gauge doesn't overheat.

Yellow seat belts from Mashimarho are probably my favorite. Evolve paddle shifter upgrade is actually more useful but I think its pretty common to swap the paddles.

Installed a 10.25" display from an X5/X6. It makes the interior feel a little more modern with the bigger screens thats on all the new cars now.

Its not too bad. TLG made a video on it.

At the time i did the install, there were a lot of new OEM 10.25 displays on ebay for dirt cheap. i think $150-200. I actually bought the wrong one for plug and play. The screen i bought needed a 12v to 5v voltage regulator adapter to be plug and play. I didnt need to do any coding though.

There are different OEM screens available for the different NBT systems through out the years so you will have to figure that one out from this thread https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...168747&page=21

I thought about adding that storage compartment instead of the cupholders but on the rare occasion that I do need a cupholder there isn't another spot is there?

The cupholders are still there. Its just a cover. I also bought the storage net that installs inside the glovebox for the cover in case i need the cupholders. The storage net isnt really necessary but it was like $15 bucks i think and thought it was unique at the time... Id probably not buy it and just throw the cover into the glovebox instead.

Cupholder cover: 51169232068
Cupholder cover storage net for glovebox: 51169248396

Here, someone is using it for sunglasses:
