Car not sounding the same downshift upshift

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey guys hope all of you are well, i got an M4CS so i dont know if its just me but i put gas in a not so known gas station called westar it was the closest didnt think much of it put 93 as always but then something happens every 3 seconds the gas would stop pumping so i had to press the gas trigger for it to pump every 3-4 seconds so it can fill up so this is where the issue pops up now my car doesnt sound the same with pop and crackles when i downshift or upshift like there is still crackles and all that but they are not as aggressive or loud then prior to when i went to that gas station. Any advice ?
I dont know what it could be

Could be a case of bad gas or bad gas pump.

I'd remove the fuel and put in new and see what happens.
Or take it to a shop on a flatbed to avoid driving it in case it is something serious.

If its hard to drain all the gas you can try buying a bottle octane booster and see if that helps!

Keep your rpm below 3k and avoid high speed/highway until you get a fresh tank.

I'm not sure I understand your logic in waiting until you're practically on empty before you put in better fuel. If the problem was caused by low octane, or even by water or sediment in the gas, you're far better off filling up ASAP with good gas from a top-tier gas station and diluting that bad gas with better fuel. If you wait until you're empty, you're just running the car on bad gas for longer and the remaining dregs may actually make the problem worse.

And don't buy cheap gas! Always buy premium, top-tier gas! (Google it)

Not only running the crap gas, but the lower the fuel level in the tank, the greater the chance is the pump picks up any sediment settled at the bottom... That and it's hard on fuel pumps. They need the fuel in the bottom of the tank high enough to keep them submerged/cooled. Costs just as much to fill the top half, as it does the bottom half
