Eibach Spring Settling / alignment question

Hello,

Ive been told by Eibach that these springs are -pre settled already and that i dont need to wait a week for it to settle in.. is that true??

Should i just wait for a week to have it settled in before getting an alignment done?

If you're not putting a ton of mileage in it can't hurt to wait. I think I waited about a week.

But note that you're toe settings will be out of whack and the car will/may behave funny.

Modern springs don't settle. Eibach has lots of TUV documentation where they cycle their springs 500k times and show the before/after lengths. The change is typically less than 1mm. If your ride height is changing between installing the springs and a week later, it's not the springs.

Just get the alignment right after, no need to wait.

The majority of noticeable settling happens after a car is put down on the ground after it's been lifted up (even if nothing is changed) so all that's need is a handful of miles for the car to settle into its normal ride height before alignment. (3-5 miles is more than enough to take care of all of this). Settling of the actual springs in the sense that they get shorter is not noticeable with modern high quality springs as has been mentioned.
