Thanks for the obvious but if you notice in my post, I wasn't comparing it to any other car, I was basing my thoughts on the car alone, which still stand. To me it's a great daily driver and I love every time I jump in and drive it on the road. I have 0 issues with it being a daily driver ....
Excellent mate, then you won't have it advertised for sale in 6 months time like many who buy them for the wrong reasons.

It don't see the point of insulting other brands especially Mercedes Benz - that makes great cars and is a fast developing legendary status in the realm of F1 motor sport.
F1, Benz wasn't too legendary in V8 Supercars when they couldn't design a V8 engine to match Chev and Ford.

I don't owe Benz anything mate, so I need to be nice about Benz on a BMW forum for what reason?

There is no harm in showing common courtesy to people in general - even behind the safety of a keyboard.

Nev, how do you afford a M4 and an X3 when you give away so many 2 cents?

As I've said before mate, this is the M3/M4 section of a BMW forum but you seem to have the impression that I should like Merc's. I don't like Mercs and people who do like Mercs need to be praising them on the Merc forum not here. Consequently I don't join Merc forums and tell the people enthused with them how much better BMW's are either.

Furthermore, I bought an M4 for a track car to exploit what BMW built these cars for yet the track orientation of the M4 is what people complain about. It's the track orientation of the M3/M4 that many people don't like after buying them and it's the reason many want to sell them after the novelty wears off. The rawness of the M3/M4 isn't a fault with the car, the fault lays with the people who bought them for the wrong reasons. When a Merc has greater potential than an M4 to win club sprints, then I'll buy one.

1. I'm not your mate

2. You can praise BMW and criticise Mercedes all you want without getting personal toward owners (eg "posers").

It doesn't cost anything to be civil and polite to one another. Regardless of what their choice in a mass produced German car may be.

Heaps of posers buy German brand cars for prestige didn't you know that? But that's ok good on them what ever floats their boat. The point is; M cars are thrashing machines built to accommodate rev heads and the chances are, posers won't like the rawness of them or the roll cage and no back seat in an M4 GTS.

If you don't want to track an M car, drive it flat out and smoke the tyres regularly in a full lock power slide, you buy an M car for what reason? A pose perhaps, you tell me mate?
