CA vs VA Tire prices?
Long story short.
265/30 ZR20 Front tires quoted from BMW in San Diego were $267, same tires were $343 in Virginia Beach (I just moved there.) Service said different states will have different prices. True? Or are they BSing me?

Not sure about state to state pricing with others but The Tire Rack doesn’t vary with what state you are in. Delivery is inexpensive or sometimes free and install is also available with a local data base. Been doing it with them for years and very satisfied with their customer service.

I believe it is true to an extent... but you can get around it by shopping online.
tirerack, discounttiredirect are the two I usually go to. There are probably others that people can mention.
