Code out fake noise

Looking for some help coding out the fake noise.

Anyone in Connecticut/northern Nj with the equipment to do this?

code out the fake noise in my F80 M3

I've seen that thread and it requires ripping the trunk apart. Looks longer than 5 minutes.

Ok maybe 10mins lol!

Ripping apart? Nah you peel back some rubber, unlatch some clips and pull some material back and voila.

That said, if you change your mind later and want to plug it back in, you will probably have to make more room to get your hand in there.

Put it this way - it takes less time to unplug the module, than it will take you to buy the cable, download the app and dick around with your phone to disable via feature toggle in the coding app.

The correct way to do it is coding it off. Unplugging it will store a code, and while that doesn't hurt anything, why not do it right?

Get BimmerCode and a Bluetooth dongle to connect to your obd II port. That way you can code off active sound (I'll never go back) and you can code in rear fog lights, look sick.
