How much were you charged for the swap?

SA charged me a few hundred. A little pricey but done fast and if something goes wrong with the wiring / airbag etc. it is on them. I am sure it could be done cheaper elsewhere or there are plenty of vids on youtube showing how to do it. If I didn't have the 1200 mile going on I probably would have done it myself this weekend.

Agreed. OP, what's behind the cheesyness? They make wallets to store that stuff nowadays.

Anyone have issues fitting the trim or the switches over the alcantara on this CS wheel. The alcantara is so thick it was hard to fit these pieces over it. The M Performance V2 wheel had indentations for you to mount the trim and switches over them. So much simpler.

The M4CS wheel felt less chunky compared to the m performance wheel with LED.

It could be because of the electronics built into the wheel.

anyone have an issue with the bottom trim not being flush? the alcantara is too thick for me to close it like stock. same with the button modules, there's a very small gap

update:

used a plastic pry tool to squeeze the alcantara and close the trim. now it almost looks flat bottom-ish with the trim.

getbmwparts.com by far has the lowest price. ask for evan

IND sells it for like 500-600 more I believe,

I loved my CS wheel but I recently switched to the M Performance Electronic wheel and although the shift lights are awesome, the CS is a better overall feel, its much thicker

The electronic is thicker by the shift lights but the rest of the wheel is actually smaller. The CS Is the thickest, its also thicker then the V1 and V2
