M4 GTS Autocross Front Camber Questions
I am auto crossing my M4 GTS but need to get negative camber in the front. Has anyone done this? Can it be done?
Also I am switching rear wheels to 19" to allow use of RE71 Tires. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated |

I thought that it already comes with negative camber in the front: -1° 45’ ± 15’. I also think that you can lower the front with 16 mm and thus creating more negative camber. If you need more you are going to need a kit.
Besides this for autocross you can experiment with the different rebound settings. |

I've done this installed on my GTS as well. Pretty straightforward. Few things to remove topside (covers, carbon fiber brace), couple things to loosen (aluminum brace), loosen top shock nut, loosen stock camber mount, lower assembly, replace with Ground Control camber plate, reinstall. Don't think I missed anything. 2 hours for first side because of removing topside stuff, 1 hour for other side, 30 minutes button up.
Because of the design, if you install at minimum camber setting, the alignment was pretty close to stock settings allowing a drive to the alignment shop. The range of adjustment is good. Unfortunately you then become limited because there isn't much adjustment range with the rear. You wind up not using the full range of adjustability up front...so then you need Ground Controls rear links Good luck with install |

You also have to loosen the drop link to lower the assembly. There might be something else down there but I can't remember, wasn't consequential if there was.
See pic for torque settings. Taken from factory repair manual. I did not replace bolts/nuts that were noted. Also, when installing the Ground Control plate use their torque settings |
