Per PTF 15.0.2 did NOT fix the issue yet. Still pending by Apple FYI.

Works for me wirelessly. I'm able to flash my car as well as see my dash board gauges on bm3. Wired might not work…

There are a number of Ethernet adapters that do in fact work. Kies Motorsports one people reported working in the bm3 enthusiasts facebook group as well as some off of Amazon.

I was able to get it to work with this one, but it stops working around 7 minutes and you have disconnect/restart everything. It’s not the connector as my wife’s phone on 14.8 would stay connected/log for 20 minutes+

My wireless always does the connected/disconnected deal…not sure what's wrong with it. I have the settings in there for wifi

Same here - started a couple of months ago.

I can use the MHD device to connect wirelessly without difficulty and can flash xHP and BM3 maps with no trouble at all. Can also use BimmerCode with no loss of connection and can check diagnostic codes through BM3.

However, trying to monitor the dashboard gauges or logging data is impossible because the connection is always lost after 10 seconds or so. And then it intermittently reconnects and again drops the connection.

Did a datalog 481 seconds last night (that's 8 minutes to be exact) on my iPhone 12+ running latest stable iOS 15.0.2

The first ENET cable I got with my BM3 was total ass though, and was super finicky. Since swapping over to these I've never had an issue.

Issue is with the Ethernet drivers used in iOS 15. Apparently nothing changed with the driver but iOS broke it due to the back end changes that were made and was not caught by apple before iOS 15 came out.

Mine isn’t working either. Really wish they would fix it. Had the fun drivetrain malfunction, replaced my leaking top mount and had to revert to the crummy old fashioned dash command app to reset with my wifi dongle lol.

Here is a summary of the issue as of this morning from PTF:

Thank you for reaching out to us. With the latest iOS 15 release, Apple has changed the way their lightning adapter certification works. Inside each lightning connector is a tiny authentication chip that tells your device it’s Apple MFI Certified. We believe the latest release broke the ethernet adapter connectivity on iPhones only, since iPads don't have this issue.

We have found a few adapters that work with the latest iOS release. Please see the links attached.

Ahhhh jeezzzzzz…

This means many of us with the generic no-MFI-chip adapters just got hosed by the Apple Mafia!!!

I'll stick with the new wireless adapter for my phone…and good thing my laptop has an Ethernet port.

I Have the wireless OBD agent device and it doesn't log very well. When I click to log it times out right after the pull. I have tried turning off the auto log and extending out the sliders

I had much better luck logging wirelessly using the Kies/MHD-type and my iPhone. As long as I stayed in Offline mode in BM3 the manual logging and autolog worked fine, and they uploaded when I dropped my WiFi to Kies and went back online in BM3. I haven't been able to set my phone to know the Kies WiFi has no internet and to still use my Cellular to hit BM3 Cloud and log live.

You can set those settings they have on the main screen when you go into the app or you jot down the ip settings it shows for WiFi and erase the last one, think its called Router. This is the way I have internet and enet cable work at the same time.
