Kinda off topic but how much lower than stock does your AA EL resonated mid pip sit at down pipe/mid pipe connection?

Completely on topic! I didn’t take any measurements but mine sits at about the same height as the stock midpipe at the DP connection. The resonators on the resonated version are on the secondary pipes which fit after the X and take place around the diff. I couldn’t tell you about how those sit in that area tho as I have non-res

It should be exactly the same height or else it wouldn't connect to the DPs which are fixed height.

I'd imagine catless downpipes, AA EL non res and no muffler.

Catless with no sound reducers (resonators, mufflers, etc.) - effectively a straight pipe. It'll be loud but sound like shit

Pls don't run a setup for the sake of being loud... you're just gonna make everyone who owns our cars look bad and piss people off

Much more reasonable than your last post...

I'm not going to comment in your thread specifically, but one literally just sold the other day on this forum for ~$1200 incl shipping

There's also another still listed at $1100

I already have a pretty loud set up and not too raspy...resonated DPs, non res AA and MadMax muffler...selling the MadMax muffler so getting ideas what I can try. Thought about a straight pipe with resonators.

Tbh not much will be louder than the mad max in that setup since that's a bypass to a straight pipe. Maybe try something like a Remus? Won't be louder but will have a different tone which may improve the impression of sound/loudness that you're getting

Ya thinking that too but it's hard to find a used remus and I don't want to pay $3k for a new one lol already paid $2.5k for the madmax...i will continue to search...i don't think the madmax is fully straight pipe with the valves open though...the middle can just take out some volume

Normal GT4 for anyone who hasn't heard it before:

Haha!!! What the hell? Dude's asking more for a used set than I paid for a brand new AA EL mid. Oh well, guess it's worth it if some sucker buys it.

I thought so too, at high RPMs...but everything else? Rattled, buzzy and Honda Civic-y.
