Agreed, pricing seems pretty high too, even for LRG.

Still feel like in 2 years any m3cs under 30k miles will be fetching 80k plus easy

Curious to hear your rationale on price ticking up. These cars are only getting older and with the new 3CS coming I figured they’ll depreciate even further. What am I missing?

https://www.edmunds.com/bmw/m3-cs/20...1/?radius=6000 - They had the price at 80k on this 2 months ago

https://www.edmunds.com/bmw/m3-cs/20...3/?radius=6000 - 79k on this

Yeah it is the same dealer, but they are raising the price for whatever reason. and other ones on the market aren't really dropping price much with lower miles. In SMB, FDB, LRG. Black and white don't sell as well and tend to go on the lower end in value.

Also, still this is the first CS model they made for the four door m3 and with the g80 cs price point is what 140k? Some said it might help values on f80 cs

Makes sense, thanks for the details. As a CS owner myself, sure hope you’re right

I do think we’ll need to see some sales at this level, vs. dealer prices.

That’s a nice one on the surface - one owner, CA car, clean carfax and low miles. $85k asking seems right given LRG and CCBs. MSRP was $115k and it was listed new for sale in Aug 2019 for $100k at BMW San Luis Obisbo. Ahh yes the good old pre-pandemic days when $15k or more off a new BMW wasn’t that hard to get done.

Same, also in LA, soooo.

For low 60's, I think it's going to be tough to find something without an accident and high'ish miles. There's one in Studio City that's 45k miles for under $60k.

https://www.centurywestbmw.com/inven...8m9c59j5l00541

My feeling is the sweet spot is $65-68k if you want something that's in good shape and 30k'ish miles.

I have my smb m3cs for sale with 36k miles, selling as I’m buying a lime rock m3cs tomorrow. It will be my third f80 can’t get away from them, as it’s the best all around car in my opinion. Wish the new m3’s were better looking but I can’t do it.

That’s a tad low. Range of $64 to $69k seems right for this LRG depending how clean it is, tread on tires, maintenance records. Seller might ask $72k or best offer and see if he gets more looks. Just my opinion. 28k miles isn’t high but it’s not low either on a CS.

Why the swap ? Was it color or lower miles or maybe both?

I love ads like this because their research is just looking at what others are selling them for and not what the actual selling price is.

How does one obtain data on actual selling prices?
