3 Piece Cardon Diffuser not fitting flush
Recently installed a 3 piece aftermkt carbon rear diffuser for my F80 m3 and noticed the right wing is not as flush as the left, is this normal?
How do I fit it more flush, I was thinking of taking it off and sanding the right wing diffuser down to more flat so it fits better on the bumper, any thoughts or advice on this? Went with the middle grade one paying like $350 for it vs the $120 ebays one. Last edited by KnockTsuKow; 04-09-2023 at 12:59 AM.. Reason: pic |

It's absolutely normal that knock off CF will have hit or miss fitment issues.
$350 vs. $120 is essentially the same thing. They all China/Alibaba manufactured. I would just add screws to the edges where it's sagging. |

3M VHB tape, half inch or wider. Stick that bitch. I used wide VHB (and screws) to mount all my spoilers/diffusers and they held up to many 160-170MPH runs.

I would just put 3m on the side of that and push it in as much as you can. |

I bought my V-style 3-piece diffuser from Horizon Motorsport (not eBay knockoff) and also have same small gap. I knew before purchasing this because it stated in the the description "There will be a small gap between the center piece and side extensions, if you are on the pickier side, we recommend purchasing the P Style diffuser, which is also available on our site". To be honest, it doesn't bother me a bit. It is not as noticeable as having a gap on the front lip.
