That Sutcliffe guy is such a a$$. He hates the M4 and takes every occasion he can to bash it.

That being said, that i8 would be quite interesting with better tires and suspension

Maybe he secretly loves it, hence why he keeps driving it.

Thanks for the video, OP. The guy is full of contradiction throughout his review. Interesting that he finds the M4 "boring" as he giggles at the end of the video while in the M4. Just the video alone of the M4 hitting the apex and drifting makes my pulse rate increase.

I'm i the only one who looks at these comparisons as utterly useless. These are two very different types of cars. What's the point.

Despite his contradictory statement of saying he likes the M4's steering (I could have sworn in a previous review of the M4 he didn't fancy the steering very much), I think Sutcliffe is much better reviewer then, say, Carlos Lagos. At the very least he explores certain aspects of cars providing an interesting review. Lagos would read down a shopping list of manufacturer specs while driving. Tell me something I don't already know.

I wouldn't call him an a$$. It's simply his opinion of the M4.

To provide a frame of reference for how fun these two cars are to drive back to back. They're clearly different; that's the point here, but the on-paper stats are similar enough to make an interesting comparison.

0-62 wrong for the M4, lazy journos.

Also the M4 is too heavy?.... isn't it the lightest M on sale and also 80kg lighter than the outgoing E92? Some 50kg heavy than the i8 costing almost twice as much.

The more I hear Steve Sutcliffe the smugger he comes across on the videos.

BTW, 4.3s is the official 0-62mph (0-100km/h) time quoted by BMW for the 6MT.

I say he is an a$$ because of his hypocrtical way of downplaying the F8X in every review or comparo he makes. He just seems to try to find reasons to justify his dislike of the car. If he doesn't like the car, I am OK with it. He should just say so in his reviews instead of making inconsistent comments from one review to another just to bring the car down. Not everyone has to love the F8X.

the Reason why he hates on the new M4 M3 so much is because he drives an 2014 Alpina D3 he keeps comparing it to it and says his car is much better.. pretty annoying. He's the only reviewer who doesnt like the new M4 M3..

He is simply saying the i8 I more fun to drive compared to M4. Considering the price difference that should not be a surprise really.

How can i8 be more fun to drive when the batteries were running out of juice and all he got is a 3 cylinder 1.5 liter engine? Sutcliff is a joke.
